List and/or describe your favourite video games. It might give other people some ideas of new things to try.

Final Fantasy VII!

Hah. Though at this point, people might just want to wait for the remake that's coming next year.

In general, I would recommend a bunch of those old Sega Genesis and SNES JRPGs.

JRPGs feel my soul.

I've been messing around on Minecraft this weekend. It's kind of nice... building...accidentally destroying the thing you just built when you get the controls mixed up.

Love Diablo2, just a great game. I don't care if it's old.
Gothic 1 and 2 are amazing. Unfortunately the English versions of it suck balls (You will miss out on a lot of the cool story)
Right now I'm playing Blade and Soul, MMORPG, it's not in itself a great game, but it's fun and it looks fantastic.

Neat, so can I guess that Gothic is a German game, maybe...?

Gothic stuff and Germany tend to go together. ;D

Hehe, it is and it is fabulous! You get to kill orcs and dragons and eradicate whole cities. Good times. (I'm usually just looking for games, where I can kill everything )

Unfortunately I can't play any new games, since my computer isn't having any of it.

I always really wondered, what is the fascination with minecraft? I just never got it.

I tried Blade and soul, but it got old to me at around level 35 =/

The PvP really sucks, that's true. I made it to endgame level and everything is just so expensive to upgrade. I don't really enjoy games with endless grinding, so I will be opting out of it soon as well, but enjoyed it until then.

Gothic does sound awesome, but I don't speak German, so I'll just stick with Marvel Avengers Alliance and such here, hah. Too bad about you not being able to play newer games on your comp.

I never got into Minecraft, either, though I think my sister did... I guess it's fun to build things. ;D She likes those Sim City games, too, so maybe it's the same appeal as that?

Yeah, I've been playing some other building games, a theme park type one. As well as Nyan Cat and Clannad and some random Fairy game I got. XD
